Finding Love

When we last spoke, our experts were working on the Love family. Here are the results.

Meet Herbert…
and Sylvia…
The Loves!
Here is the family. Surprisingly, they were not found where I expected.
Older brother Christian fighting with sister, Demi (yes this IS Christian Love) He was hiding out downtown. As stated previously Escape is a land of second chances, so we lured him in with the promise of a short rewind in time. I think he’s upset because younger sister Demi has joined the NPC Police Academy
Though she has other aspirations, she is very proud of herself.

Then, of course, there’s Sara. She looks so much like her mother.

In our search, turns out, Herbert has a younger brother, Jasper and a niece, Chris. Aside from the red hair and mannerisms, I guess she must favor her mother, who sadly is not here.
There are 3 more Love children, 2 found in CASsia and 1 among the Moddedites, mostly because Sylvia wants to marry off 6. We can meet them later. That’s a lot of love at one time!
Now to Sara’s love… This is the Hart Family. Matthew's parents and older brother Mark.
Meet Reverend Malachi Hart, loved by all or at least his first lady.

Isn’t she lovely?
And now… wait! This just in! The Newsons’ paternal grandparents and possibly one other relative have been located and are currently “in process”. They have submitted a photo for your viewing pleasure.
How LOVEly!
Next time in Escape, guess whose coming to dinner?

Classification Breakdown

Here in Escape are 2 classifications of Sim, the Maxians and the Customarians. The Maxians are the original inhabitants of the area, many of whom we have seen before. The Customarians are those who were created in other worlds and are currently migrating here. The migration turned out to be so massive it is taking longer than expected, but that’s another tale. Today we are still focusing on the Natives. While our top genealogists, the census takers, and the amazing experts at 23Sim-me are busy logging and categorizing, here are some interesting discoveries… Under the Maxian classification are 3 sub categories – Originese(Natives), CAS-sians, and the Moddedites. This is only important to our scientists but I thought it was interesting to know that among these three groups, relational ties are being discovered.
For example, this is DJ Verse, an Originese.
This is her family. Mother Dominique in the purple exercise set. Father Paul and sister Lainey.
They are CAS-sians and the four found each other actually just outside of Fiesta Tech in a little town called Sedona. I don't know why they were wandering, maybe they were lost. Sedona is an abandoned area of desert. They are currently getting to know each other... again?
Here we have Jessie and Joan Pilferson. One an Originese and the other a Moddedite. Jessie is a freshman at Fiesta Tech. Her big sister Joan is an FBI agent. She is currently living in an agent safe house learning to train future agents that will be needed once the new government forms.
Jessie was so excited to learn of her sister. Sadly their parents didn't make it. Here Jessie is telling Joan that it would be great if they could move together once she finishes college.

Meet Colonel Montague Bratford. A CAS-sian.
The Colonel is a wealthy philanthropist, which is very ironic since he left his daughter and wife many years before y3k to pursue his own way. He never once even wrote to see about his daughter Monica. Not even after his wife (who never remarried) died of a broken heart.
Escape is the land of second chances and he and Monica have been reunited.

Evidently he was not as excited as Monica about the reunion. Hey! recognize this house at all? Its the House of Fallen Trees located Downtown. He's just moved in.

Can you feel the love? Can you see any resemblance?

Well, this is the last family for this installment. Our experts are currently working on the family of Sarah Love. The parents have both been located, and a sister. There is a brother, but he is said to be a gearhead townie and therefore he his hard to get a hold of.

The Natives

While the migration continues, let’s meet “The Natives”. These are just a few families that I have “followed” over the years from different towns. Now, they will be all right here together! Fun!

These are the Newsons
The thing I like about them is their closeness. The teens are very good with the younger ones.

Here is another shot. They are just so wholesome, aren't they?
"CUTENESS!'
Here is Natasha Una doing what she does best, well this and eating grilled cheese sandwiches. She taught me that could in fact be a lifetime want.
Everything about the Curions brothers was always so interesting to me. Not only is their house so cool, but...
A pregnant man!?!?! Whaaaaaat? See him in the blue tee? Yep, that's Pascal Curious - pregnant man.
Of course these days that's common place so you'll see a lot more of that.
The Goth's Of Course!  Here they are with town playboy and Cassandra's fiance' Don Lothario.
The Monty's - It was difficult to get them together and keep them for photo - so busy! Still not everyone is shown.

Meet Romeo Monty! He has been quite the character over the years! Let's see what he does here.

Uncharted Territory

I chose this title to just show some of the other “discovered” territories in Escape. I also am learning this program called Gadwin that I read in some other blogs that people use. I don’t know how to use it but I’m learning – I guess – but hey this is a collage I made using it! A funny side note – I looked up uncharted because I thought it was really spelled unchartered and found that, according to Merriam-Webster, it means a new and unknown area. This is cool because blogging is new to me, Gadwin is new to me, and there is too much uncharted territory in my RL to mention it just seemed the perfect title.

Up from the ashes

The dust has since settled and information is being sorted through. Most of the land discovered so far looks like this, although there is some desert and a terrestrial looking area. A couple of brave families ventured into the "wilderness" looking to find a new beginning in the new year. What they found was hope. The fact that it was winter and had not snowed was unusual but allowed the journey to begin unimpeded. The disaster, you see, happened everywhere. It was an apocalypse of sorts. There were remnants of land and broken families everywhere. There were those who were indigenous to the area as well as others who came from  different areas all pulling together to rebuild what once was. There began a migration of folks from other worlds to this new land.

The Back Story

So , more than a month after my first post and here I am again - to try again. I was so excited to post the last entry and I kept checking to see if anyone read it. I was like "O Yeah!" people are really reading. Then I discovered it was set to count even the times I check... woops! so I dont know if anyone is there but if you are just say anything so I'll know. Ok, Now tune in to ...

"The Back Story"
It was the end of 2099, strange things were happening. No one suspected the tragedies that were about to unfold.Sure, there was a sense that something wasn't quite... right. Like when the oldest Johnson girl went in for plastic surgery and came out with the face of an old hag, and before anyone could act, she and the doctor disappeared. No, literally, her clothes were walking around with no body. Her parents had to make the tough decision to have her - or what remained of her - euthanized. Before you knew it, there were even more disappearances and strange happenings. There were computer glitches. People, sometimes crowds of people were thought to be frozen in time. It's like the whole world crashed. It was Y3K! No one was prepared for the darkness. But a las,  life is filled with swift transition and the Simmizens began rummaging through the aftermath trying to reboot their lives. Some of them looking for family, some for solace, and some just looking to escape.

A Brief Introduction

Hi! I'm Fee.

I love playing the Sims 2.  It's kind of my escape. I've been playing for a little over 8 years now and downloading for half that time. Downloading correctly for half of that time and so on. I really enjoy it even amidst the numerous start overs. My middle daughter started me on it when she was in college. (Started me on it...because it's my drug of choice) At that time, Sims 2 was on the way out and Sims 3 was on the way in, so I was able to get all the expansions pretty cheap. She has since moved on to Sims 4 and I am still right here. It's nice. They know me here. I always "jot" my families and my family plans. I have I don't know how many notebooks filled with characters and their next moves. My children and some friends that I have shared this information with tease me about it.
Then! Some years ago I discovered there were others just like me! I discovered blogs. I do have some favorites and I love reading Sim Stories. I follow 2 people faithfully, but I do read others. With those I am in and out but only because I can't read them ALL day! I need time to plan and play my own.
So I thought I'd try my hand at blogging the ins and outs, comings and goings of the "Simmizens" I run into around here. C'mon in and have a look around - maybe, like me ... YOU will want to stay here too in ...
